Founded in 1999 by the Free and Democratic Bulgaria
Foundation, the Center is the only one of its kind in Bulgaria
that offers to street youths aged between 16 and 25 help and
consultation on a wide range of problems they face.
In the last few years more than 200 youths participated in
the Centre's programs
More than 100 youths had
their ID documents issued last year; 32 have been brought off
the street and returned to their families; 21 were included in
employment programs; 10 have started and continued to work
with a contract; 8 went through professional courses; 12 have
continued their education; one has enrolled in Theology at the
Sofia University; 1 has recorded a CD;

16+ Youth Day Care Centre is:
a place where modern methods of work with youths in
crisis and those on the streets are applied;
a basic centre for education and training of students
and young professionals;
a trustworthy partner of society and institutions for
homeless children and youths.
